- Spacious grass pitches with plenty of room between campers
- Suitable for tents or car camping - sorry no campervans or motorhomes
- Set on a working smallholding with friendly farm animals
- Calm, respectful atmosphere — no crowds or entertainment schedules
- Friendly dogs welcome (kept under control at all times)
- We keep guest numbers low so everyone can enjoy the space and quiet.

We offer simple but well-maintained facilities, kept spotlessly clean throughout the season:

- Spotlessly clean event toilets
- Hot water washing up area
- Fresh drinking water point
- Camping / general supplies available
- Communal fridge & freezer
- Central phone charging point
- Recycling & waste facilities
- Separate dog walking area
This is traditional camping - comfortable, but not commercial.
🔥 Campfires
Campfires are part of the camping experience and are welcome on site, provided they’re used safely.
- Fire pits only (available to hire)
- No fires directly on the ground
- Use common sense & supervise fires at al times

🐑 The Smallholding & Animals
We are a working smallholding, animals are a big part of life here.
- Guests are welcome to see, help feed and learn about the animals
- Wash your hands well after visiting our animals
- Be kind & respectful to all of our animals
🌙 Evenings & Quiet Time
- Primrose Smallholding is known for its peaceful evenings.
- Quiet time begins in the evening from 10pm
- No loud music or parties
- Perfect for stargazing, campfires, and early nights
If you’re looking for a lively or big social campsite, we may not be the best fit!.
⏰ Arrivals & Departures
- Arrival from 10am & departure by 2pm
- Try to arrive during daylight hours - so you have time to pitch your tent!
- Let us know in advance if you’re running late
